The PC Tools Spyware Doctor did nothing for me. Once I loaded the software it went downhill from there. When I go to the website for help the Windows Police Pro pops up everytime. I tried to do the restore point but it won't even let that run. Looks like a complete wipe for me now.

It's a matter of using the CTRL ALT DEL button every time you see the Windows Police Pro pop up screen. You have a few seconds in between that screen popping up to install Malwarebytes, but if you stay persistent and keep using the CTRL ALT DEL button on the Windows Police Pro category, you can actually get Malwarebytes to work. So far, Malwarebytes has found 60 infected objects on my computer and I'm not even finished with it yet.

This thing was kicking my butt for a while, but using a combination of what many people posted on here, I think I finally have this thing beat. I used the F8 'spam method' to get into safe mode after re-start & was able to delete many of the problem files, as well as run malwarebytes anti-malware. The initial re-start was slow, but once things got running again I was able to actually do things like run IE while not in safe-mode. My symantic endpoint protection kept getting deactivated, but that eventually fixed itself after I followed bleepingcomputer (website) removal instructings & downloaded their file to get .exe files running again.

good luck!

Police Pro (in my case anyway) won't let you use regedit, cmd, msconfig, or anything else. Downloaded spyware of anykind can't be use either, says there are bad files and need to reinstall. It seems to block the use of any program that can be used to delete it. Any ideas??
