I have errorsmart on my system and I never even downloaded this, let alone paid for it. Ad Adware live watch keeps saying it has stopped it from activating. Does anybody know if its safe to remove it using add and remove programs, because its really getting on my nerves now and I know there are detailed instructions here on how to remove it manually but I dont like messing in the registry files?

One day after purchasing Error Smart, my Internet homepage changed itself (from Yahoo to Google), and I was repeatedly assaulted by Trojans and Ad-ware alerts by my McAfee Anti-virus. I had a constant Red X warning that my computer was infected with spyware and even after several full scans I thought that maybe McAfee had somehow not loaded correctly, or I needed to re-install, and I did not expect that Error Smart had anything to do with it.
Today my computer will not allow me to go on-line (I am writing from a computer at my mother-in-laws as I type this) and I was going to send it to a repair tech person to "fix it". A friend of mine suggested that Error Smart might be the problem, and so tonight I found two webpages (this is one of them) that exlpained EXACTLY what occurred on my computer, and that Error Smart was indeed the culprit. I've already been scammed for $40 for the Error Smart program and won't be purchasing any of the offered "Fix Error Smart" software available. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...
I'll be removing it myself with the help of my neighbors whiz-kid computer geek teenager.
I'm telling everyone I can, and hopefully you will too.

I bought it as well and just found out it may be spyware. I was trying differant programs over the years and was looking for something to clean my registry. It worked and i haven't had any problems. Maybe the fixed themselves up.
Either way i will watch the program but next time i buy something i will look it up here first. It's very helpful to get reviews. As for spyware i don't have any.

ERRORSMART is NOT a scam. Ive used it for 6 months now and contacted the boys at errorsmart and they have been really helpfull even fixing the bogus claims by spyhunter that it is malware - i even let them use LOGMEIN to access my laptop with no problems. You are obviously in the pay of thier competitors whose products are exactly the same. Ive read countless blogs and sites and the internet community is split - one lot says errorsmart is the best thing since sliced bread and other deriding it as a scam - wake up registry programs that find hundreds of errors every time they fire up MUST be a scam.TO contact - direcrt online contact is easy - ERRORSMART.COM they even have a live chat site

I'm sorry Decima, ErrorSmart is a scam and there is little chance you will get your money back. Be sure tell your credit card company and bank what has happend before the scammers take more money off you. What antivirus are you running? I highly recommend you get a paid antivirus product like SpyHunter to get ErrorSmart off your computer.

I brought the ErrorSmart programme just today 19/9/08. And now i cant find anyway of accessing this programme. All the links that they gave me to click on, just brings up a blank screen. Ive even tryed to find their support site and my computer tells me that there is no such site, cause they cant find a site that matches this site. I have now uninstall the ErrorSmart programme from my computer and emailed CLICKBANK for a refund as i have no way of contacting ErrorSmart themselves. I'm not sure if I will get my refund now. I really dont know much about computers myself. Maybe i should of left it along.
