omg i hate this software (i mean trojan lol) … my porn hungry christian brother in law uses (whatever ya know) m but the damn thing shuts down the whole network whenever it thinks it’s being fucked with … ya that means my computer in the other room too …. or retard boy, just doesnt understand why he’s getting booted, and he reboots the router every 30 minutes

can someone tell me how to remove the covenant eyes from my mac. A past employee loaded it to the computer. the instructions previously posted did not help as i am very weak when knowing how to do stuff like this I need to know step by step as in which key to press then the next key necessary to press until the task i accomplishted problem is people say stuff like type: in “xxx now i don’t really know what to type “xxx or in”xxx or :in “xxx it is really confusing to some one who does not know

Here is how to disable Covenant Eyes for the Mac.

The hack is as follows.

1. Log is as root user (This will tell you how: http://www.spy-hill.com/~myers/help/apple/EnableRoot.html)
2. Show invisible files (In the Terminal type: “defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE killall Finder”

3. Delete the following

/usr/libexec/CvntDaemon

/Library/Receipts/Covenant Eyes Package.PNG
/Library/launchDeamons/com.Cvnt.deamon.plist

/var/.ce

/System/Library/Extensions/cvnt.kext and cvntDriver.kext

4. Restart

Make sure to reinstall the program after you remove it. If you leave it uninstalled for too long, someone will know that you are not using the program.

Hello,

Just wanted to inform you that Covenant Eyes does not in fact record keystrokes. The only thing we record are the URLs that your computer visits. This way we do not gather any sensitive financial information. Also, installing Covenant Eyes places an icon in your system tray, as well as gives a “splash” screen when you start the computer informing you that your connection is being monitored by Covenant Eyes.

The only person we share your browsing history with is a person you choose as your accountability partner.
