Chrom1um Browser is not an application that can be considered entirely trustworthy. This is so because it exhibits quite a few features, which cannot be regarded as useful in any way. Due to its questionable functionality, this application was dubbed as a potentially unwanted program, which should be avoided at all times. Make sure not to download or install it under any circumstances even if you see claims stating that this browser could be extremely useful. Such statements are a marketing gimmick used by its developers to lure unsuspecting users into obtaining their product without understanding how it works. Another reason why it has been classified in such a way is due to the questionable fashion of its distribution, which could even prove to have detrimental consequences. Make sure to delete Chrom1um Browser if you even find it running on your computer by using the instructions that we present below.

At first sight, Chrom1um Browser might seem like any other web browser. Unfortunately, it is much more invasive than you would like it to be. Once it fully enters your personal computer, it will, without any authorization or notification, set itself as a default web browser. Also, it will try to appear like a popular browser - Google Chrome since it is based on a chromium engine; therefore, it is not unlikely that some users might not even realize that they are using this potentially unwanted program instead of the aforementioned browser. Also, this intrusive piece of software is known to alter the pinned Google Chrome shortcut on your task bar with its own one; this is also done without any warning. While such functionality is bothersome and frustrating enough, you should also know that often it will present you with a questionable third-party site as your default home page as well as it will provide you with some unknown third-party search engine. It should be more than obvious that this questionable web browser will not help you with your daily online activities in any way. Your best bet to surf the web the way you are used to is by executing its complete removal without any hesitation.

It is important to note that this Chrom1um Browser is usually spread via bundled installers, meaning that it is likely that it could have come along with some other questionable application. Therefore, we highly recommend running an extensive analysis of your PC for suspicious and even potentially malicious software. To safeguard your computer from getting infected via a software bundle, you need to avoid all third-party download websites because they are infamous for being the main providers of setup files embedded with additional potentially undesirable applications. Also, you need to pay your utmost attention to every single installation procedure since you could be presented with an opportunity to cancel the installation of some unwanted program. Last, but not least, make sure install a professional malware detection and removal tool as it is crucial to your overall virtual security. By running such a tool while taking the preventative steps that we have listed, you will make your operating system virtually unbreakable.

The complete removal of Chrom1um Browser must be executed if you wish to surf the web the way you are used to once again. It is important to follow the instructions that we provide below carefully because a missed step could result in an incomplete removal which might mean that the potentially unwanted program in question could continue its intrusive functionality. In other instances this devious application could be fully restored in a silent manner by the help of just a few leftover files. If you wish to be sure that everything associated with Chrom1um Browser has been terminated entirely, make sure to perform a full system analysis for potential leftovers associated with it. You can also check for leftovers by using a reliable antimalware tool, and it will detect and delete them in an automatic manner if any are found.
