Brality is a questionable browser extension that offers you "the greatest search experience available out there" just like most of the similar useless and potentially harmful search pages. We have categorized this tool as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) because you may install it without knowing or realizing, and it might pose an indirect threat to your system even if not the dangerous type. It is also possible that some malware researchers conclude that this is a browser hijacker since it can actually change your browser settings. This PUP only seems to effect your Google Chrome browser. We have found that this useless application is very similar to Pracember and Search Bay. The same forceful promotional method is used in the case of these PUPs and you can also find them spreading in questionable or deceptive ways. This also means that finding any of these PUPs on board would indicate that there could be malware infections hiding on your system, too. We suggest that you remove Brality from your browser as soon as possible.

There are basically two official sources that offer you this PUP. One is its own official page, brality.com, which is practically identical to the Pracember webpage, pracember.com. These schemers do not seem to have spent too much time on redesigning their new PUP's page for sure. This page is suspicious for two things. First and foremost, even though it shows you links at the bottom leading to its supposed legal documents (Terms of Service and Privacy Policy), these links do not function. In other words, this page seems to refuse to share its policies with you, which is always a red-flag situation. Second, there is practically no content here apart from a big "Click Here" button. Another official way to install this annoying tool is the Chrome web store at chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/brality/gghpcjhjifkoojkmdooebifjgmfknaao. But we do not assume that most users got hold of this PUP through these channels.

It is more likely that you install this PUP in more deceptive ways. For instance, you may click on a corrupt third-party advertisement and find yourself redirected to a blank webpage, which could be related to brality.com, and a pop-up message may push you to install it if you want to leave this page. But you may also land on such a promotional page if your PC is infected with malware. Then, it is also possible that you have installed a freeware bundle lately and that may have contained this PUP along with other threats like malware infections (adware programs, browser hijackers, Trojans, and more). This is possible when you download free programs from suspicious websites like shareware and torrent pages. But you may also drop a bundle when you click on third-party ads or malicious disguised content on websites generally related to online betting, gaming, and porn. You can only surf the web safely if your computer is completely clean of any threats. Thus, we suggest that after you delete Brality, you use a reliable online malware scanner to identify all other threats as well.

This is a completely worthless application because it does not even use its own engine to provide you with search results; not that it would make it any more reliable. This PUP basically changes your default search engine setting to brality.com so whenever you search the web straight from your Google Chrome address bar, your queries will go through this questionable server and redirect to Google search results pages. This may also give an opportunity for this PUP to inject questionable third-party ads and links among the original results. Even if right now this tool may not modify search results, it certainly have future potentials to be exploited. Unfortunately, cyber criminals can easily use such an application as a platform to promote their malicious websites. All in all, this is a totally unnecessary extension that might pose a threat to your system security. Therefore, we suggest that you remove Brality.

In order to get rid of this useless tool, you need to remove this browser extension from your Google. If you are not familiar with this process, please use our guide below. Please note that this PUP could be the least dangerous threat on your computer. So deleting it will most likely not make your PC way more secure. If you would like to feel safe again in your virtual world, we suggest that you download and install a reliable anti-malware program, such as SpyHunter.
