very good and easy,needed updating,running full scan took me 2 hours,but was worth it.After restarting system problem dissapeared
Nothing is working. I run the malware and as soon as it is done downloading i get a pop up that says the file is infected. What do I do now? I appears that it is blocking everything. I can’t get into the control panel or any system file fuctions.

I used Malwarebytes and it removed this pesky problem. $24.95 but it was easy.
I used Malwarebytes with great success! Much easier than trying to figure it out on my own. Plus it managed to hide itself quite well.
I can only get to applications in Safe Mode. If I try anything else, I just get a black screen. Also, the Malwarebytes won’t do anything in Safe Mode. It thinks for a second and then NOTHING!! I tried the System Restore, and nothing happens. I get to select a date, then Next, I read all the warnings, click Next, and NOTHING!!!
Any suggestions???

re: Malwarebytes‘ Anti-Malware no longer removes Antivirus 360. When I try to run the Malwarebytes, it freezes.
I have Norton 360 and it is running whenever I start up and it auto updates. I still got invaded with Antivirus 360. When scanning with Norton 360, nothing is found.
The spy hunter could find viruses, but did not get rid of the spyware protect 2009. The Malwarebytes seem to have gotten rid of it so far. I hope I don’t get it again. This thing is so annoying, it makes it a nightmare to use your computer. I have no idea how I got it.

I have been fighting this a360 all day. I have finally gotten to where I can surf the internet without being blocked. I use AVG, but it didn’t find anything wrong with the a360. I downloaded Malwarebytes‘ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup). It found the correct file and removed it. So far so good! I’m going to go back and get the website and will post it in just a few minutes. I received the Win32/adware virtumonde virus last week and the only program able to remove and restore my computer is:

PS: I was using Eset Smart Security when I receive the virus and when I asked for help I was given none and was ignored. They have a bad product and poor customer service.

Have had two experiences of “Spyware Protect 2009” One on a Windows XPP and another on a Terminal server.
Removed Windows XPP using ComboFix and the Terminal Server Malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes seems to be the easier solution. As always keep the system updates on your system up to date.

I had Spyware Protect 2009 issues on my computer and I was really nervous about downloading anything to try and get rid of it. I finally downloaded Malwarebytes and it worked. Yay! Also, if you are having trouble even using the internet due to Spyware Protect 2009 blocking sites, try downloading firefox to use instead of Internet Explorer. That is what I did and it doesn’t seem to be able to mess with Firefox.
I have used Malware bytes from Malwarebytes.org and it has worked perfectly for me (also if you are going to buy any Symantec program DO NOT it is rubbish)
Download a free version of Malwarebytes and run. Do a complete scan. It may take about an hour total, but you let it do the work for you. Just finished this myself and the computer is finally clean of the Vista Antivirus 2008. It’s quite easy so try this first before attempting anything else. Good luck.

Malwarebytes‘ kills Vista Antivirus 2008!!!
antivirus xp 2008 installed itself automatically without any user intervention. luckily i was able to remove it with some help from a free malware remover software called “Malwarebytes‘Anti Malware” which totally remove the malware without any trouble.
Spyhunter is not free. However I used Malwarebytes Anti-malware. It worked perfectly. However the Antivirus at first recognized the scanner somehow, so I couldnt execute the program, But after changing the name of the .exe file it did work. Hope it will help!!
