Hey, Ben

You might want to cancel your credit cards. Scams like Antivirus Trigger vary in their criminality -- sometimes the "anti-spyware software" is just a poor product, sometimes the rogue software is combined with a Trojan that will annoy you with popups and plant spyware onto your computer to be "removed" by the scam, and sometimes the con artists will charge your card multiple times.

So the best thing to do is to cancel the card you gave them, and download some new, legit anti-spyware software that you run weekly to catch threats like these.

Let me know if there's any other way I can help.

i had a pop up while entering a site that said i needed to down activex 2 or something like that, when i clicked on it my PC was instantly over run with whatever virus, freezing programs and slowing to a hault. i didnt have any ant-virus but wanted to get some as soon as possible, the only one that was accessable was this anti-virus trigger so i bought and downloaded it. it seemed to help a little in certain aspects, but my whole system is still all messed up. my gretest concern is that my personal information and credit card number are out there. please contact me with any helpful information you have. im going to try to remove it today without destroying too much. thank you-

AV Trigger is stubborn. After a tech worked 2 days on cleaning up my system, I still have a couple of symptoms left. None of the commercial products we tried have caught up with this one yet.
